Reno eNVy Announces New Parent Company and Home Means Nevada Co. Clothing Line

Oct. 26, 2017 will mark the first day of the company's new brand launch

Reno eNVy is growing up and with it some new threads that pay tribute to the Battle Born state. Reno eNVy recently announced that it has launched a new parent company called Home Means Nevada Co., the company will expand product offerings to the current customer base and connect with new customers across the state of Nevada. Nevada Day will mark the first day of the company’s new brand launch with products being offered at its flagship store located in downtown Reno, as well as the online store located at http://www.homemeansnevada.com.

In 2005, Reno eNVy started as a tent vendor at the Reno River Festival. They sold over 60 shirts that first weekend and realized that the community really connected to this fun, irreverent brand. In 2008 the company leased a 300 sq. foot space for a retail store in the West St Market in the area's popular Riverwalk District and so began their brick and mortar presence in Reno. They soon outgrew that space and relocated to their current 1800 sq. foot location on Sierra St. Reno.

As our business grew and we started selling outside of Reno, there was a little disconnect with calling the brand Reno eNVy, we needed to create a brand that would represent all of Nevada, but don't worry Reno eNVy is not going anywhere, it will still be its own brand and the name of our flagship store in the Riverwalk District in the heart of downtown.

Scott Dunseath, Owner

“When we started Reno eNVy 12 years ago, we really tapped into something. People take great pride in their communities and we were able to capture that pride on t-shirts,” said Scott Dunseath, owner.

Those who have an affinity toward Reno most certainly feel the same way about Nevada. In early 2016, owner Scott Dunseath recognized how the newest line of Battle Born Apparel was resonating with the community on a more national scale and increasing not just local pride but state pride as well. This is when Dunseath saw an opportunity to further create a Nevada Lifestyle Brand, and what better name could serve that purpose than Home Means Nevada.

“As our business grew and we started selling outside of Reno, there was a little disconnect with calling the brand Reno eNVy, we needed to create a brand that would represent all of Nevada, but don’t worry, Reno eNVy is not going anywhere, it will still be its own brand and the name of our flagship store in the RiverWalk District in the heart of downtown,” said Dunseath. “We pride ourselves on our relevant and fun-loving designs and we protect ourselves with state and federal trademarks on Battle Born, Home Means Nevada and Silver State,” Dunseath added.

Reno eNVy will host a weekend of specials and sales at its downtown Reno location. Debuting during the 101st Nevada Day celebration, the new Home Means Nevada Co. line will feature Nevada themed t-shirts that celebrate the great silver state. The new company line will follow the same pioneering spirit, individuality and reverence for the past as its original Reno eNVy brand.

“We want to share our excitement with all of those who’ve supported us from our days spent selling t-shirts in a tent by the river to the launch of our new Home Means Nevada Co. brand and beyond. Here’s to another 12 years as Nevada’s signature brand!” Dunseath added.
