Design on Edge wins several awards for creative work

Design on Edge was recognized several times for their award-winning work by their peers and on a national level this month. Honored by Graphic Design USA and the American Advertising Federation, leadership spent a lot of time at the podium over the past few weeks.

Design on Edge was recognized by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) as a winner of the American Packaging Awards for the packaging design of Kynd Cannabis Company’s edible chocolate bars. This recognition was followed by an additional award from the GDUSA American Web Design Awards for the Kynd Cannabis Company’s consumer website.

These national awards bring together makers, sellers, and marketers to convey the message and brand. According to their website, the outstanding work showcased here – from 200 elite design firms, design departments, and production companies – is a testimony to design phenomenon. “Our annual competition celebrates attractive graphics, of course, but more importantly the power of design to forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth.”

The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDY Awards, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year in the local American Advertising Federation Club. Design on Edge won a GOLD ADDY for Bliss Babe Magazine for consumer website design, a SILVER ADDY for Kynd Cannabis Company in the consumer website category, and a SILVER ADDY for art direction for Rounds Bakery. All three ADDY award entries have been forwarded to the second tier of the competition and are now competing on a district level. The local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition, these entries will go on to compete in the district competition against competitors from 15 areas and then on to nationals.
